Splittsy is a free tool to quickly and easily split group shared costs. Snap a receipt, tap who shared and how much, and Splittsy will work out “who owes who” and the fewest payments to settle up.

Splittsy is free to use.

On the web today at splittsy.com/app, and soon in the App Store and Google Play. Your account and groups are the same everywhere.

Invite them with a link and they can join the group on iPhone, Android or the web. You can add people to bills straight away; they see everything once they join.

Every bill and item has a hub: the bill in the middle and the people around it. Tap a person to bring them into the split, and the hub divides the amount between everyone you’ve tapped. Drag someone away to take them out.

Yes. Tap an amount to type an exact value or a percentage, or tap the € button to switch between amounts, percentages and units. Splitting a pizza by slices works too.

A lock keeps someone’s share fixed while you change everyone else’s. A Total lock keeps their share of the whole bill; an item lock keeps their amount on one item. You can lock someone at €0 when they had none of it.

Take a photo of the receipt and Splittsy reads every item and price. Anything it isn’t sure about is flagged, so you can fix it in a tap before splitting.

Up to 20 people in a group. With 10 or fewer you see the hub; with more, the same split shows as a list.

Smart Settle works out the fewest set of payments to square everyone in a group up.

No. Splittsy keeps track of who owes who and records when you’ve settled up. You pay each other outside of the app.

Open the web app or the app, tap “Forgot password?” and we’ll email you a link to set a new one.

Go to Profile in the app and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your personal information. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
